- 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Marinate chicken in the honey garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add marinated chicken to the skillet, cooking for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Pour remaining marinade into the skillet. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice chicken and serve with sauce drizzled on top, garnished with green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sesame oil to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
