Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs, skinless
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place chicken thighs in the crock pot.
  3. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove chicken from the pot and set aside.
  6. Strain the sauce to remove garlic pieces, if desired.
  7. Reduce the sauce in a saucepan over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  8. Serve chicken with sauce drizzled on top and garnish with green onions.
