Honey garlic steak bites are tender, flavorful pieces of steak coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Add steak pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade and sear in the hot skillet until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining marinade and bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry, then add to the skillet.
- Stir until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Add the steak back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve over rice or alongside vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce ratios to taste for sweetness or saltiness.
