Description

Jalapeno popper deviled eggs combine the classic taste of deviled eggs with the spicy flavor of jalapeno poppers.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and removing from heat for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cream cheese, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the yolks.
  5. Mash and mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a piping bag for a professional finish.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives.
