- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 can lemon-lime soda (12 oz)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon cake mix and lemon-lime soda. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest to create a glaze.
- Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before drizzling the glaze on top.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
