Linguine with Garlic and Olive Oil
Ingredients

- 400g linguine
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until garlic is golden brown.
- Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic oil.
- If needed, add reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
- Season with salt and toss again.
- Plate the linguine, garnishing with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan.
