A refreshing mango tango sorbet with a vibrant flavor.
Ingredients

- 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh mint, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add diced mangoes to the saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and blend the mixture until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove any fibers.
- Stir in lime juice and mint if using.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For added texture, consider folding in small mango chunks before freezing.
- Garnish with mint leaves for presentation.
- Experiment with adding other fruits like pineapple for variation.
