Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then sear them for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
- Remove the salmon and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Deglaze with white wine, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add fresh herbs and mix well.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
Notes
- Serve with steamed vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
- Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
- Plate with a drizzle of the sauce and a sprig of dill for presentation.
