  2. Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
  5. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, folding until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
