Ingredients

- 2 cups of Arborio rice
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in Arborio rice, toast for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in white wine, cook until absorbed.
- Add chicken broth one ladle at a time, stirring frequently until absorbed.
- Once rice is al dente, remove from heat.
- Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese if desired.

- For a richer flavor, substitute vegetable broth.
- Add sautéed mushrooms for an earthy touch.
- Finish with fresh herbs for brightness.
