- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once cooked, add meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve meatballs garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan.

- You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- For added flavor, mix in herbs like basil or thyme.
