- 500g minced crocodile meat
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)
- 1 sheet puff pastry
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a large bowl, combine minced crocodile meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles, approximately 10×15 cm.
- Place a portion of the meat mixture on one end of each pastry rectangle.
- Fold the pastry over to encase the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
