Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 oz gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread cream cheese evenly.
  4. Layer the cheddar, mozzarella, and gouda cheeses on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until cheese is melted and bread is golden, about another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
