- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough and flatten each ball slightly.
- Place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each dough portion and fold the dough around it to fully enclose.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For added texture, mix in chopped nuts.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
