- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in elbow macaroni and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, until pasta is cooked.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.

- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
