Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange peel, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with orange juice, orange peel, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry. Reserve marinade.
  3. Dust chicken with cornstarch for a crispy texture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Pour reserved marinade into the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.
