- 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange peel, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with orange juice, orange peel, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry. Reserve marinade.
- Dust chicken with cornstarch for a crispy texture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour reserved marinade into the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of orange juice.
