Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, and melted butter.
- Whisk in eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Add pecan halves and stir to combine.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark corn syrup.
- Add chocolate chips for a chocolate pecan pie variation.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
