Instructions

  1. Rinse the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

  3. Add cumin seeds and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until translucent.
  5. Stir in turmeric powder and mixed vegetables, sauté for 2 minutes.

  7. Pour in the chicken stock and add salt to taste.
  8. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
