  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until incorporated.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  8. Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough and flatten each piece.
  9. Place a teaspoon of salted caramel sauce in the center and fold the dough over to seal.
  10. Roll into a ball and place on a lined baking sheet.
  11. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  12. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
