- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the rinsed rice and toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
