Description
A rich and creamy seafood chowder with a blend of fresh seafood and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb scallops
- 1 lb white fish, cubed
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the potatoes and corn, cooking for 5 minutes.
- Add seafood stock and bring to a simmer. Cook until potatoes are tender.
- Reduce heat, stir in cream and butter. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add shrimp, scallops, and white fish. Cook until seafood is opaque.
- Season with salt and pepper. Stir in reserved bacon.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Use fresh seafood for the best flavor.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
