Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Create a well in the center and pour in the warm water.
  3. Mix until a rough dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
  6. Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  8. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  9. Place the loaf in a greased baking tin.
  10. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
