Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 100g unsalted butter
- 200ml heavy cream
- 200g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, following package instructions.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnishing with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
- Experiment with adding cooked chicken or shrimp for protein.
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce.
