Description

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti – 400 grams
  • Ground beef – 500 grams
  • Breadcrumbs – 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese – 50 grams, grated
  • Egg – 1 large
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
  • Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Olive oil – for frying
  • Marinara sauce – 500 ml

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. Once browned, remove meatballs and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the sauce and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Drain spaghetti and plate, topping with meatballs and sauce.
  8. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
