Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the spinach and a third of the mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layers: marinara sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, spinach, and mozzarella.
  8. Top with remaining noodles, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
