Ingredients

Instructions

- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and buttermilk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Mix in the green food coloring until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before frosting or serving.

- For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of Irish cream liqueur to the batter.
