Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before icing.
- For the icing, mix powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled treats.
