Description

A rich and savory steak pasta dish that combines tender steak with al dente pasta in a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Slice the steak thinly against the grain and return it to the skillet.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Stir in the fresh basil and adjust seasoning as needed.
  9. Plate the pasta and garnish with additional Parmesan and basil if desired.
