Ingredients

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain and return it to the skillet.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Stir in the fresh basil and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Plate the pasta and garnish with additional Parmesan and basil if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Try using different types of pasta, like penne or spaghetti.
- Experiment with different herbs, such as parsley or thyme.
