Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes to macerate.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth.
- Add heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the macerated strawberries, ensuring some pieces remain chunky for texture.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
