Ingredients

- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, taco seasoning, and diced tomatoes.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer cheese, beef mixture, and jalapeños on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute before slicing.
Notes
- Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavor.
- Add avocado for creaminess.
- Serve with salsa or sour cream on the side.
