Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes, remove from oven, and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
- Substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Use different cheese varieties for a flavor twist.
