- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 cups cooked pasta or rice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta or rice with the beef mixture.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Variations can include adding different vegetables or using ground turkey as a substitute.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
