Instructions

  1. Combine coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture briefly, ensuring they absorb some liquid but do not become soggy.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  6. In serving glasses, layer the dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone cream alternately.
  7. Repeat layers until glasses are filled, finishing with mascarpone cream on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
