Ingredients

  • 2 cups custard, prepared
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the custard and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer half of the sponge cake cubes on the bottom.
  4. Add half of the custard over the sponge layer.
  5. Layer half of the mixed berries on top of the custard.
  6. Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Finish with a generous layer of whipped cream on top.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
