Cabbage leaves can be used in various culinary applications, from wraps to salads.
Ingredients

- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 lb of ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Remove the core from the cabbage and carefully peel off 10-12 leaves.
- Blanch the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until softened. Remove and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add ground meat, cook until browned. Stir in cooked rice, diced tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place a generous amount of the filling in the center of each cabbage leaf, fold sides, and roll tightly.
- Arrange rolls in a baking dish, seam side down. Pour any remaining tomato mixture over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute meat with mushrooms or lentils.
- Experiment with spices like cumin or chili powder for different flavor profiles.
- Serve with a side of sour cream or yogurt for added creaminess.
