- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup raspberry puree
- Fresh raspberries for garnish
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until steaming.
- Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks. Gradually add the chocolate mixture to the yolks, whisking constantly.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, drizzle raspberry puree over each dessert.
- Garnish with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate with at least 70% cocoa.
- You can substitute raspberry puree with strawberry or blueberry puree for a different taste.
- Consider serving with a side of whipped cream for added richness.
