Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 6 ounces of white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Mix garlic powder and thyme into the butter for added flavor.
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, in a preheated skillet over medium heat.
  4. Evenly distribute the shredded white cheddar on top of the two slices in the skillet.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  7. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
