Delicious banana snickerdoodle cookies that combine the flavors of banana and cinnamon.

- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture.
- Roll dough into balls and coat in sugar.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
