Brownie Buckeyes are a delicious combination of brownie and peanut butter treats, coated in chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions.
- Spread brownie batter in a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let brownies cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Form peanut butter mixture into small balls and place on cooled brownies.
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening together in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip peanut butter balls in melted chocolate, covering completely.
- Place dipped balls back on brownies and refrigerate until set.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best served chilled.
- Can substitute crunchy peanut butter for a different texture.
