Delicious chocolate chip snickerdoodle cookies with a cinnamon twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons sugar for rolling
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Roll dough into balls, then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • For softer cookies, bake for less time.
  • You can substitute white chocolate chips if preferred.
