Delicious chocolate chip thumbprint cookies with a sweet filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup jam or preserves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add flour, salt, and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Shape dough into small balls and place on baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball.
- Fill each indentation with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.

- Store in an airtight container.
- You can use any flavor of jam.
