Delicious chocolate peanut butter cupcakes topped with creamy peanut butter frosting.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Spoon the batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting, beat together peanut butter and butter, then add powdered sugar and milk to desired consistency.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Frosting can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
- For extra flavor, add chocolate chips to the batter.
