Description
Chocolate thumbprint cookies are rich, buttery cookies filled with chocolate ganache.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips for filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Make a thumbprint in the center of each ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- While cookies cool, melt chocolate chips and fill each thumbprint.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
