Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the squash cut-side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until tender.
  6. Once cooked, use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands.
  7. Toss the strands with marinara sauce and fresh basil.
  8. Serve warm.
