A healthy and delicious spaghetti squash recipe suitable for the Daniel Fast.
Ingredients

- 1 medium spaghetti squash
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the squash cut-side down on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until tender.
- Once cooked, use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands.
- Toss the strands with marinara sauce and fresh basil.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- This dish can be topped with nutritional yeast for added flavor.
