Description

Delicious eggnog thumbprint cookies filled with creamy eggnog frosting.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup more powdered sugar for frosting
  • 1 tablespoon milk for frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar.
  4. Add vanilla extract and nutmeg to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Mix in eggnog until combined.
  7. Form dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Make an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let cookies cool before filling with frosting.
  11. For frosting, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  12. Fill each indentation with frosting.
