- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting into squares.

- Store brownies in an airtight container.

- You can add chocolate chips for extra richness.
