Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  5. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool before cutting into squares.
