- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
- Add molasses and eggs to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Prepare icing with powdered sugar and water.
- Decorate the cake with icing and candy to resemble a gingerbread house.
