A fun and creative gingerbread house made with candy decorations.
Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- Assorted candies for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter.
- Add molasses and egg to the sugar mixture.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Roll out dough and cut into shapes for the house.
- Bake shapes for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool completely before decorating.
- Use icing to assemble the house and attach candies.

- Make sure dough is cold before cutting shapes.
- Use royal icing for better structure.
- Store assembled house in a cool, dry place.
