Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture, and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Roll out the dough and cut shapes for the house.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm.
- Allow pieces to cool completely.
- Assemble the house using royal icing as glue.
- Decorate with assorted candies.
