Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut shapes for the house.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm.
  8. Allow pieces to cool completely.
  9. Assemble the house using royal icing as glue.
  10. Decorate with assorted candies.
