- 1 cup brown sugar

- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Royal icing for decoration
- Candy for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Roll out dough and cut into shapes for the house.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until firm.
- Let cool completely before assembling.
- Use royal icing to glue pieces together.
- Decorate with candy as desired.
